|    Model 4D keyboard    |

From: doug.mccomber@fakepart.gmail.com              Hi,              I finally got a 4D keyboard for my 4D (the kind with the backspace key)       but the reset button is missing. The plunger (or whatever it's called)       for reset works but the orange piece isn't there. The reset button on       my old keyboard (Mod 4 type with clustered arrow keys) is of a different       design with respect to how the button mounts on the plunger. The 4D       keyboard plunger is a small hollow square in the center whereas the       other one appears to be some 4 pronged do-hickey. I was wondering if       anyone out there had a spare orange reset button for the 4D keyboard I       could have?              Also, how does one go about lubricating the keys. The keys on my "new"       keyboard bind a bit when press. Feels like plastic rubbing against       plasting. The binding isn't there if you press the keys from a perfect       vertical position, but if your fingers are on any kind of angle they       bind a bit. So I guess what I'm asking is what kind of lubricant should       I use?              Regards,              --       Doug McComber       http://www.VintageComputing.net              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
