Would the seller of the $12 drives do that?              Are they really 720K drives? I thought they were (what CN80 sells)       standard 1.44MB/720K Teac drives (standard 10-15 years ago for pc's).       What makes these useful to us is that they have a jumper for selecting       drive :0 and drive :1. A real 720K drive would actually be better       because it would use 1.44MB media as 720K...              They probably cost quite a bit less back then 10-15 years ago so the       current price is based on availability either from CN80 or from where       they got them from. Floppydrives are going out of fashion nowadays so       3.5" is going to be obsolete soon too.              About the discussion; I think it's a pretty strong reaction to post a       warning on news, and the group is the main meeting place for present day       TRS-80 users. Maybe too strong even if he got you angry. I have one       transaction with CN80 and it was all ok, not much communication but it       wasn't necessary either. I just bought a stack of 3.5" 720K floppies.              Knut                     >       > Again, you're right.
