   Hello again!   
   I have a Hayes 1200 Smartmodem hooked up to my model  4's RS-232 port with a   
   bi-directional cable.   
   What would be the software command process to setting up and using the modem   
   with the m4 and getting it to connect to a dial up BBS?   
   I have the various OS's to choose from, so whichever one your comfortable   
   with in describing the process is okay. Or com software for that matter,   
   that I can download from Ira's site.   
   :-)   
      
   Does anyone have a list BBS's that are still up & running for this type of   
   setup? I'm in Michigan in the US.
