XPost: comp.sys.cbm       From: cjb@brushtail.apana.org.au              I've finally found the spare desktop space to examine a TRS-80 Model III       (see http://kildall.apana.org.au/~cjb/wordpress/archives/131), and one       of the discoveries was the 32 column screen mode looking -exactly-       like the alphanumeric characters of the Commodore PET and VIC-20.              Microsoft is a possible common connection, but does anyone have an       explanation why the two systems used a lot of the same character ROM       data? (It was just in the public domain?)              --       Chris              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
