   Now THAT is amazing.   
   It took that technology about what? 30+ years to make it to the public   
   sector. Makes you wonder what's around right now, that won't make it out to   
   the masses until 30 years or so from now.   
      
   Out of curiosity, what did a video tape machine cost "Joe consumer" in the   
   early 70's? Were the public sector models all black & white or could you buy   
   a color version too?
