   MSDOS 1.x I can't remember the exact version. It did not allow for   
   subdirectories so   
   it had a script to allow the massive 10 meg :) hard drive to be partitioned.   
   The first partition   
   was A:, the floppy drive was B:, then the HD was C:, D: etc.

   I had an IBM System 34 mini computer that had a juke box style floppy drive

   had 130 megs of hard disk space.
