   IMHO the best thing would be to repair the machine. New tube?   
      
   But, I think the timing is similar to a TV signal. One could probably   
   mix the two sync signals with the video signal with some logic and a   
   couple of transistors to get a composite signal. maybe one could use the   
   TV's scart plug and do it with the separate signals but they would have   
   to be the correct way (inverted correctly). It is an ugly solution though.
