   If I remember correctly it was completely port mapped, not memory   
   mapped, and there was a hack for it to work on the Model III (and   
   even the Model II if you really futzed with it) but it died pretty quickly   
   It was a neat toy, but the vocabulary was just so limited it was just   
   that, a neat toy.  There wasn't anything practical for it, unless you   
   did it yourself.  I don't believe any hacks for platforms other than the   
   Model I ever made it out of Ft Worth, and I don't recall ever seeing   
   one in a magazine.   
      
   I saw a lot of hacks for the synthesizer though.  That was neat.  There   
   was supposedly a hack to make it work on an I/O interface, but then   
   the SSI part became available in a single chip that sounded better.
