   If you don't need it to be original it is pretty easy to make. I take   
   the connectors from old pc floppy cables and put them on a new ribbon   
   cable. The tricky part might be to find a connector without the "key"   
   for the TRS-80 side. You might need to buy the long ribbon cable...   
      
   The pulled pin trick of the original cable is not necessary, just make a   
   straight cable. The drives I have seen ar always jumpered correctly.   
      
   When I disassemble the pc floppycable I'm really careful so nothing   
   breaks using a scalpel and a small screwdriver. When apply them to the   
   new ribbon cable I use a wise.   
      
   Note that the ribbon connectors are actually meant to be used only once   
   so using old connectors might not be as good as using new, but in my   
   experience they work well second time too.
