   That message does not mean that anything is wrong with the ROM.  It   
   means that your DOS tried to load a program file into memory, and   
   the memory address that the program file said it was supposed to load   
   at was in read-only memory.  Usually that would mean that the program   
   file was corrupted on your disk.  Do you get exactly the same error   
   every time you run the "help" command?  Do you get any other errors?   
   What happens if you try a different boot disk?
