   First off, I don't think it was overpriced. It was expensive, but that's   
   not the   
   same thing. You want overpriced, see Apple...   
      
   The Model II graphics card made the whole screen bit-addressable. The   
   graphics card didn't set or clear bits, it provided a 'plane' that would   
   'XOR'   
   to the existing video data. I think it was about $450. I thought it was   
   pretty neat.   
      
   It would run on the barebone Model II, and there were some hidden   
   drivers for it on some of the Xenix tar disks, along with software to   
   support   
   the mouse/clock and even the 4-port mux serial card (which was much   
   better than the 3-port serial card). There was even a driver to use the   
   Model 2000 keyboard on the Model II.
