From: ralffmail-news1@yahoo.de              Hi,              I recently obtained an old TRS-80 Model I. That Box is equipped with a       "Schmidtke Computertechnik SIA"-Board, a two-Port serial I/O Card using       a Z80 CTC and SIO and outputs to two 9-Pin Sub-D Connectors (it's a       small Card that is plugged into the Z80-Socket (of course it offers a       socket that then holds the Z80).              As I was unable to get it to Communicate with my Linux-Laptop I started       to check the Board & Connectors and found, that GND is connected to Pin       1 (and not Pin 5) of the 9-Pin Sub-D.              I'm now going to measure how the Signals are routed -- however, just to       make sure it would be great if someone here did have some Info on that       card and could post (or eMail) it!              MTIA!       Cheers,       _ralf_              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
