   thanks for the hint! Unfortunately, it doesn't help :-( I tried both to   
   run it as root and to "make setuid" and then run as user (w/o being   
   setuid root the Program aborts with a note that it needs root priviliges   
   when being run as a normal user).   
      
   I also defined a "NULL" Macro   
      
   #define NULL (void *) 0   
      
   and then was able to compile cwpci.c -- but it still claims there was no   
   Catweasel Card.   
      
   I circumvented that by setting up a small freedos-Machine and use the   
   DOS-Tools -- which work perfectly, so I created several disks w/o the   
   slightest problem -- but I'd really like to use the Linux-Tools... Maybe   
   I need to enable some stuff in the Kernel -- but I have no Idea what   
   that might be...
