   Yup. However there is a significant chunk of the trs-80 stuff that has   
   been explicity permitted to be distributed, and some of it was even   
   listed as such on Ira's site, so it isn't like he didn't know. There is   
   more that is obviously from one of the big "don't care" companies (e.g.   
   tandy). Why isn't any of that still available?   
      
   Downloading is the surest indication of gratitude. That Ira doesn't   
   take it that way means something is wrong, and it isn't with the   
   downloaders.   
      
   This isn't the first time Ira has pulled his stuff offline or severely   
   restricted access. Such has been a fixture of his site since day one   
   (even before the trs80 domain name). To me this sounds like more of the   
   same "take my ball and go home" behavior.   
      
   I appreciate the work and expense Ira has spent. And he has every right   
   to be selfish and petulant about it now. And I have every right and   
   reason to be irritated at such behavior.
