   I agree that it is stupid to have copyrights on material long after any   
   possible commercial value is expired. However, calling it stupid doesn't   
   change it. Some materials (see Disney) are still valuable, and so that   
   company does everything it can to get the terms extended. Maybe you should   
   share some of your thoughts with your government representatives, and lobby   
   for shorter terms for computer software.   
      
   Ranting against Ira or anyone else practicing caution in this arena does no   
   one any good, and seems to be on a par with the spammer with all the MI5   
   persecution crap.
