   I was just reading on a TRS yahoo group that if you connect a TRS-80   
   with a EI that needs a buffered cable tahat you short out the supply   
   voltage.   
   So you better make sure what your EI needs. I am sure that you can   
   find this out based on the partnumber or serialnumber.
