   He was inquiring about the cable from the EI to the disk drives, not EI   
   to the CPU.  The only concern with the drive cables is drive addressing;   
   Tandy selected all drive selects at the drive, and pulled pins from the   
   cable (all but the single select used by that drive position) which is   
   completely different from how IBM did it (all drives have DS1 ONLY   
   selected, and a twist is put in the cable to select between DS0 and DS1)
