|    Model 4P - no visual    |
|    16 Feb 08 20:04:20    |
From: ianmav@netspace.net.au              Hi, I have a 4P, non gate array, 26-1080 with b&w monitor... its an early       one.              Anyway, it powers up but displays no visual.              Monitor is OK because it displays a raster if the brightness is turned up,       but there is no text no matter how much I move the contrast control around.              The rest of the machine appears to work because if I boot with a ModelA/III       file disk you can hear it stepping thru its tracks and then the usual reboot       at the end of the process.              A TRSDOS 6 disk sounds like its booting to track 1, however typing 11/11/87       for the date doesn't seem to have any (hidden) effect.              Any ideas where to start?              Thanx              Ian.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
