   Hi Guys,   
      
   Does anyone have any info on how the WD179x actually decides when it has   
   found an idam or dam on a track? Does it use the gap filler bytes & counts   
   that surround the idam and dam bytes? What happens when sector data contains   
   a sequence of a valid idam/dam with correct CRC?
