   I have in daily service a Tandy 4D which serves well until recently to which   
   drive 1 stopped reading/writeing.  I have performed the usual head clean and   
   inspection of all things moveable and all appear ok, as the drive will go   
   through the motions of formatting a disk (both sides if asked) fine but will   
   lock out every track upon verifying.   
      
   The drive is a TEC FB-503 which is a half height double sided 40 track   
   drive.   
      
   I am wanting to buy another TEC drive from a Tandy 4D as a direct   
   replacement or I am also hopeing that other users may have had the same   
   drive fail in the head/stepper motor area, but the drive electronics board   
   would be useable in my drive as a direct replacement part or have surplus   
   machines which are being parted out as required.   
      
   Can anybody please assist with either a replacement drive or electronics   
   board, to keep these workhorses fully functional.
