   Probably the same reason there's no Apple II project - there's still enough   
   hardware around that interested people can still get their hands on the real   
   things. Unlike - presumably - the Apple I.   
      
   Also, I estimate the Apple enthusiast scene to be at least 10 times the size   
   of the TRS-80 scene, if not considerably more...   
      
   It's telling that in excess of 1,000 CF adapters have been sold for the   
   Apple II...
