   It's possible the floppy drive board is bad. If the floppy   
   drive board is present, it should be necessary to hold   
   down the Break key to get into Mod III Basic. If it used to   
   try to boot from floppy before you took it apart but it   
   doesn't now, you may have not reinstalled the floppy   
   board properly or hooked up the cables to it correctly.   
   I'd check those things first.
