   Yes, Model III can definitely read/write FM single density format.   
   However, it is also unable to write the non-standard DAMs used in the   
   Model I TRSDOS 2.x directory track.   
      
   There is a workaround, however.  If you already have TRSDOS 2.3 booted,   
   you can poke a value into memory that allows it to read a disk with a   
   normal DAM.  Then you can copy its files to a disk formatted on the   
   Model I... or simply label it as needing the poke.  :-)
