   If it were doable at all, it would be so complicated you might as well   
   just use another computer.  There is nothing common at all between the   
   two interfaces.  Eeasier to throw out the ST506 card and just interface   
   to the bus of the computer.

   Hmmmmm...   Pretty sure I have piles of old ISA/EISA IDE cards floating   
   around.  Most also had floppy, serial and even paralel on the same card.   
   Ccan't imagine they are that rare in the computer/hamradio flea market
