   Compactflash cards have some sort of IDE mode, so they can be connected to   
   an IDE interface with an adapter that simply remaps the pinouts (or maybe   
   not even that, maybe it just changes the IDE connector to one that fits   
   the Compactflash drive.   
      
   Given that, I thought there was an IDE adapter for the Model III.  I   
   vaguely remember something like that.  An IDE adapter is pretty easy,   
   some address decoding and some bus buffering, since it's just an   
   extension of the existing bus.
