|    Arghh...not another problem with floppy     |

From: anonjh@gmail.com              I upgraded my power supplies in my model 3 (since the originals smoked/caught       on fire}. Everything looks good when I reboot EXCEPT now the previously       working floppy drives no longer do. I tested the power supply voltages and       they look okay. I hooked        up several different floppy drives and they all do the same thing....basically       nothing. When I boot the crt says "Diskette?" and the floppy drive is       connected but the led never lights up or spins...I don't think its a bad       floppy drive as it used to more        or less work (some errors, needed cleaning} when booting before I took the       model 3 apart. Any ideas? Please don't tell me it's the floppy       controller....much more cost/work to fix that.              Thanks,       -Jeff              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
