Until the last couple of years I saw no great use for it but I did finally start using it the last couple of years. It can have it's uses - great for having a backup of files you may need on other devices and transferring those files between devices. That said, I don't keep anything too critical there and anything close to private I have in password protected Zip files and if there are things like passwords in those files, I also have shortcuts that remind me of what they are but wouldn't be of any use to anyone else. I also ignore the 4 cloud accounts I automatically got from various eMail and computer accounts and I use one that is located in Canada and is encrypted in both directions for extra security. (Sync.com) The only mild 'complaint' I might make is I get a lot of eMails from them trying to upgrade me to a paid account with hundreds of gigs of storage but, since I don't use anywhere near the 5 gigs I get for free, I just ignore those. --- * SLMR Rob * A bartender is just a pharmacist with limited inventory * Origin: capitolcityonline.net * Telnet/SSH:2022/HTTP (1:2320/105) SEEN-BY: 105/81 106/201 128/187 129/14 305 153/7715 154/110 218/700 SEEN-BY: 226/30 227/114 229/110 111 206 300 307 317 400 426 428 664 SEEN-BY: 229/700 705 266/512 291/111 320/219 322/757 342/200 396/45 SEEN-BY: 460/58 712/848 902/26 2320/0 105 304 3634/12 5075/35 PATH: 2320/105 229/426 |
