Yes, that was a bit of a surprise. They are located in Toronto
and Scarborough and are 100% Canadian owned and operated.

I assume that is more a secure eMail provider service where Sync
is just a file and system backup provider. No eMail service there.

They have Apps that automate backups if you get into using
it more seriously but I just have a couple of dozen files I
regularly keep there so I do it manually.

The free version gives you 5 gig of storage and about the only
hassle really has been getting frequent eMails with offers to
upgrade to their paid services, which is understandable I suppose.
No other ads from anyone else through them though.
