Understand vis - visa the subject matter.  The main thing I like about this
ECHO is as mentioned above, the topics usually start out with an actual
objective news article, if people want to follow up with a subjective response
they can.  So far it seems to keep things focused.   

The politics echo is always just the same 2 or 3 far right wing users posting,
anyone replying even if they quote, link, or copy/paste objective evidence. 
The original posters just say they don't care.  It's almost as bad as trying
to have a logincal debate with a woman..
