MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Sephardic Date Charoset
 Categories: Fruits, Nuts, Wine
      Yield: 3 Cups

      1 c Dates
  1 1/2 c Raisins
    1/2 c Dried apricots
    3/4 c Raw almonds
    3/4 ts Ground cinnamon
    1/8 ts Ground cloves
    1/4 ts Salt
    3/4 c Sweet red wine

In a medium bowl, soak the dates, raisins and apricots
in warm water for 10-20 minutes. This will rehydrate
them and make for a smoother final product.

Add the almonds to your food processor and pulse for 30
  seconds.

Strain the fruit and add it to the almonds, along with
the cinnamon, cloves and salt. Turn on the food
processor and slowly drizzle in the wine as it blends.
Allow to process for at least a minute-it should begin
to come together and form a ball of paste.

Transfer to a bowl or a storage container. Serve on your
  Passover table.
