   The shotgun and the ammo he just bought legally in a local gun retail   
   store.  So in 18 year old can walk into a gunstore and buy a shotgun   
   and a bunch of ammo with no waiting period or background check.   
      
   So what's wrong with this picture?

   He purchased the shotgun _legally_, weeks prior to this incident, so that   
   means he _HAD_ to have AND pass a background check for any firearm.   
   And there is no waiting period for any firearm in Colorado, you retard!
