XPost: alt.sports.football.pro.miami-dolphins, alt.sports.footba       l.pro.ne-patriots, rec.arts.tv       XPost: alt.tv       From: cheaters@nfl.com              AURORA, Colo. -- A 7-Eleven store is getting a lot of attention       for a small detail on customers' receipts.              For the past six months, the store at East Alameda Avenue and       South Ironton Street has been printing the phrase “Tom Brady's a       cheater" on its receipt.              It is at the top near the store address. Franchise owner Joshua       Harrison said he is a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and the       not-so-hidden message is his way of showing what he thinks about       Brady’s “Deflategate” scandal.              “I think he’s a cheater. That’s definitely my opinion,” Harrison       said. “I think 31 other teams and fans will agree with me.”              New England Patriots fans do not agree. Harrison said since a       photo of a receipt hit Twitter, he has had several calls from       Patriots fans demanding that he stop.              “I admire the sense of humor, but I don’t think he’s a cheater,”       Brady fan Eugenio Torren said. “That’s what sports is, at the       end of the day. It’s a game. Have fun.”              Harrison said the message was only meant as a playful jab at the       quarterback.              Corporate 7-Eleven has asked Harrison to remove the line from       receipts and the store stopped printing them Thursday morning.              Harrison said he usually switches it weekly anyway. It now reads       “Steelers 14-4," which Harrison said is a prediction of how his       team will end the season.              Broncos fans are not left out. The bottom of the Brady receipt       said “LET’S GO BRONCOS!!!” The updated receipt with the Steelers       prediction has “December 20" printed on the bottom. That's when       the the Broncos play the Steelers in Pittsburgh.              The Patriots play the Broncos in Denver on Nov. 29.              http://kdvr.com/2015/11/05/aurora-7-eleven-zings-patriots-with-       tom-bradys-a-cheater-on-receipts/              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
