XPost: alt.gossip.celebrities, alt.bathroom, alt.politics.democrats.d       XPost: alt.politics.economics       From: bksperman@outlook.com              ALLENTOWN — Less than a month after his wife was sentenced to a       state prison term for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old boy, an       Allentown man has been charged with raping a 9-year-old boy.              Robert Warris, 42, of Dixon Street is charged with numerous       felonies including rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual       intercourse with a child, sexual assault and corruption of       minors. If convicted, he could be sentenced to more than 40       years in a state prison.              Warris is married to Rachel Warris, 40, who was sentenced last       month to 15 to 33 years behind bars for sexually assaulting her       son's friend while he was visiting their home.              Robert Warris was accused of lying to police about his wife's       crime and was placed on Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition,       a probationary program that would have allowed him to clear his       criminal record if he met the program's conditions.              According to a statement Friday by Lehigh County District       Attorney Jim Martin:              On June 15, Detective John Buckwalter of the Allentown police       Special Victims Unit received a report of a rape from the Lehigh       County Office of Children and Youth Services. It was reported       that the boy was raped by Robert Warris.              The investigation showed that Warris raped the boy on multiple       occasions and engaged in oral sex with the child, according to       the statement.              The boy, now in his teens, was interviewed by a county child       specialist and accused Warris of sexually abusing him repeatedly       when he was 9 years old, the statement says.              Warris was arraigned Friday before District Judge David M.       Howells Jr. and sent to county jail under $150,000 bail. A       lawyer for Warris was not listed in online records.              Warris sat in the front row of his wife's trial in March and       wept loudly as the jury found her guilty of involuntary deviate       sexual intercourse with a person younger than 16 years old,       statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors and indecent       assault.              The jury found that Rachel Warris sexually assaulted the child       Feb. 11, 2015, at the Warrises' home. Her son is a friend of the       victim, and the boy often came to the Warris home after school       to play basketball and video games, prosecutors said.              During a two-day trial, jurors heard from the boy, now 14, who       took the witness stand and awkwardly described Rachel Warris       performing oral sex on him.              She also testified, admitting she flashed her breasts at the boy       and her own son, but said she did it as a joke. She also       admitted sending sexually explicit online messages to the boy,       but said she was just trying to be funny.              Warris told the jury that she put her mouth on the child's       genitals, but said she was attempting to stop him from raping       her.              Dr. Debra Esernio-Jenssen, a pediatrician and child abuse expert       from Lehigh Valley Health Network, said at the hearing that the       boy Rachel Warris molested may not yet be able to process what       happened to him, but may suffer long-term effects from the sex       assault.              "He's at high risk of developing a cadre of mental health       issues," the doctor said.              At her trial, Judge Maria L. Dantos called Warris a remorseless       "sexual predator who is a danger to the community," and said her       explanation of what occurred was "ridiculous."              http://www.mcall.com/news/breaking/mc-allentown-husband-of-       female-sex-offender-raped-boy-20160708-story.html                      --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
