XPost: alt.drugdealers, alt.fan.states.mississippi, sac.politics       XPost: talk.politics.guns       From: pot@dealers.com              STONE COUNTY, Miss. (WDAM) - A man wanted in connection with a death       investigation and missing person case in Colorado has ties to Stone County       Mississippi, WDAM has learned.              Investigators in El Paso County, Colorado, announced they are looking for       Johnny Rankin Morris, 46, and Hailey Diane Cole, 43, and said the two       could be in Colorado or en route to Mississippi.              Morris was born in the Picayune area, according to Stone County Sheriff       Todd Stewart, who said his deputies are looking out for him if he travels       to Mississippi.              Wiggins Police Chief Jeff Thomas said Morris was arrested in a 2023 case       after a domestic violence kidnapping report. Morris was out on bond.              As of Friday, neither Thomas nor Stewart had specific reasons to believe       the couple was definitively traveling to Mississippi and did not want to       alarm neighbors, but they did want people to be aware of the potential       connections to south Mississippi.              According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, their investigation       began last Thursday, Dec. 19, after officials were called out to a home in       the area.              Deputies said they saw “large quantities of blood in multiple locations”       throughout the home, and as a result of the call for service, BOLOs were       issued for two missing men: Morris and Stephen Walker, 37.              On Monday, EPSO asked for the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle of       interest in the case: A black 2013 Audi A4 with Colorado license plate       MYZFYT.              Officials said Tuesday that the vehicle was located at a trailhead in Park       County, Colorado after a welfare check call to a home about a half-mile       away.              When deputies arrived at that home, they said they discovered the person       living there had “indirect ties” to the initial missing persons case.       Officials then searched the home and located a dead man.              On Thursday, the EPSO asked for the public’s help locating a new vehicle       of interest, as well as three people connected to their investigation of       the Dec. 19 incident.              The vehicle officials are searching for is a blue 1994 Ford F-150 with a       “HUNTER” sticker on the left fender, Colorado license plate TQQ039.              Officials are still searching for Walker who they say is missing under       “suspicious circumstances.” Authorities said he has tan skin, black hair,       brown eyes, and tattoos on his right arm.              In the Park County death, the Park County Sheriff’s Office requested       assistance from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and EPSO. That death       is still under investigation, and the person who died has not been       identified at this time.              Officials said Morris and Cole should be considered armed and dangerous.       If you see them, you are asked to call 911.              https://www.wdam.com/2024/12/27/stone-county-connection-couple-wanted-       colorado-death-investigation-missing-person-case/              --- SoupGate-DOS v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
