 This just keeps getting more and more strange. Klahn tells Ackley that he checks the list before attempting to list an echo. If he had actually done that in November 2010, he would have seen (a) that he was not the moderator of "All-Politics," (b) that he had never been the moderator of "All-Politics," and (c) that for nearly a full year I had been the moderator of "All-Politics." So for starters, we know that his statement about checking the list is demonstrably false. Completely. No question. But instead of admitting it when caught, he compounds it by now claiming that in November 2010 he was just trying to "renew" his echo. He cannot renew something that he never had! And one glance at any one of a number of monthly lists would have informed him of that fact! He just gets deeper and deeper.
