Earl Croasmun is the master of deception. He posts half truths
 and supositions to deceive.

~>> Can you deny that the echo was unlisted and dead before I
~>> revived it?

EC> Everyone who has followed this thread as it has wandered
EC> through various echoes already knows the answers to these
EC> tired and empty questions. This is just for the benefit of
 EC> casual on-lookers.

EC> ALL-POLITICS was listed for nearly a decade. The listing
EC> lapsed in early 2006, but it remained in distribution with
EC> low traffic for several years. It remained unlisted until
 EC> Jan 2010, when I listed it.

It had no traffice when I listed it in 2009. Only due to the
fact that I did not notice the punctuation difference, Earl
managed to relist it under the old name.

Earl does not deny that I revived the echo, he just doesn't
 mention it at all.

EC> For nearly four years there
EC> was no listed moderator, although in 2009 Klahn started
EC> posting in the echo and presenting himself as moderator.
EC> This in spite of the fact that he had been banned from the
 EC> echo years earlier.

Since the echo was delisted and dead I relisted it. That is
perfectly legitimate under Fido rules. Another point Earl just
 doesn't mention.

 ...

EC> months. And in his ramblings on the subject he has even
EC> claimed that he CHECKS the listings BEFORE he tries to list
EC> an echo. If that were true he would have KNOWN that I held
EC> the listing for ten months!

Since I had a good faith belief that I had properly listed it I
had no reason to check the listing of my own echo. Notice he
says I tried to list it once. At one time I had 4 echos listed,
and I had listed All Pol under two names. Sometimes I would try
to renew an echo using the password from another echo, and would
get one of those messages. Note, when you try to list an already
listed echo you just get a message that you had tried the wrong
password. Nothing about it being listed by someone else.

When I renewed it with the name and password I originally used
it went through. I had no reason to question it.

Also remember, every poster in the echo, including Earl and Ross
Cassell, recognized me as the true moderator. Therefore I had
goodfaith reason to believe I had proper status as moderator. At
no time was my authority questioned by either one of them until
Ross Cassell recently brought it up. Ross also told me someone
else brought it to his attention, he did not even discover it
 himself.

Therefore, all accusations of any deliberate misconduct on my
part are false. Since the accusers know of the facts as I listed
 them, those accusations are lies.

And not one of them can deny this.

EC> In the course of his ramblings on the subject, Klahn has
EC> also called Bob Ackley and Tim Richardson LIARS when they
EC> simply stated what was clear, documented, and irrefutable
EC> fact. This is not exactly new, though, as he also tried to
EC> hijack POL_DISORDER from me a few years ago. He failed at
 EC> that, too.

What earl does not mention is Pol_Disorder was also dead and
unlisted. And what he also doesn't mention is he tried to take
All Politics from me when the echo robot had a problem and
delisted the echo. In that case it required the echo robot
problem be fixed, and the echo listing was returned to me.

Also, Ross Cassell tried to take Debate from me the same way.

IOW, Earl is guilty of what he accuses me of. As is Ross.

Note also that Pol_Dis is now near dead anyway. Earl collects
echos, changes the rules to allow what the previous owner
 forbade, and then they die.

Again, Earl is the master of deception, but the facts are known
to all who have been in All Politics for more than a few months.
