I think what amazes me is that they tend to really believe that those 
characters and those lives are actually real.  That is even more 
astonishing in that the acting is generally very poor.  

What I find even more interesting is that you only have to watch 
one show a week.  The Monday show gives a full recap of last week's 
earth-shaking developments.
