Your son might have it > too? There seems to be some evidence that it runs in families... Autism is a spectrum, Asperger's is a specific form at the top of the spectrum. I think officially it's still not considered true autism, but it's commonly accepted to be...something like that, it's confusing.. :p Some people would say that high functioning autism and Asperger's are the same, others say it's different, I dunno. I believe it if it does have a genetic component. To be honest, my mother was the first to point out we may have a case of autism. Once I did the research and talked with her about it, she made a comment that I might also be on the spectrum. She can't remember specifics from my childhood, and if I were on the spectrum I'd be so high up it wouldn't matter much if I were, but I would suppose having two parents with autism would greatly increase the odds of both children having it. Yesterday we had a pretty good day. Today, I was feeling ill most of the day and pretty much stayed on the couch. The kids woke before me (fairly early for some reason) and got into the kitchen. For some reason, everytime they pull chips out, they feel the need to scatter them from one end of the room to the other. That's pretty much how the entire day went, they trashed the place. --- SBBSecho 2.12-Win32 * Origin: SETX Chat and BBS - Vidor, TX (1:393/31) |
