True... they do say that burning wood warms a person twice... Maybe even
thrice...  ;)   Once when you chop it, once when you carry it in, and
again when you actually burn it...  :)

Some snow is good to have in winter.... and some nice cold temps... just
not too much or too low for either... ;)   As to the forecasts, one has
to just wait and see what actually comes...  ;)  I haven't heard any
predictions yet for our coming winter... or for the approaching autumn
season, for that matter...  :)

I take it you were off somewhere for a while, with just the mobile
