Same here: first computer, a Vic20. Never had a floppy drive for it - typed in
BASIC programs from magazines, such as BYTE, and occassionally tried to save
to a tape drive - usually unsuccessfully. But it begat a couple of Apple IIs
and a Timex Sinclair which eventually begat a PC-XT clone and well.. you know
where that story goes.
