I can't remember if you wrote back if you were able to load a lot of that DOS
stuff into high-memory or EMS... as in, allocate some EMS pages with EMM386
and SET DBOVREMS=Y.

Windows 3.1 or 3.11 for Workgroups (I forget)... should be better than 3.0.

Windows NT 3.5 or 4.0 should run in 8 megs of memory...
