XPost: alt.america, sac.politics, alt.dementia       XPost: alt.politics.democrats, alt.fan.rush-limbaugh, talk.politics.guns       From: democrat-criminals@mail.house.gov              https://nypost.com/2021/03/19/biden-has-killed-bipartisanship-and-other-       commentary/              President Biden “campaigned on a promise to bring Republicans and       Democrats together,” but “less than two months into his new       administration,” he has killed “hope for unity and bipartisanship,”       laments Marc A. Thiessen at The Washington Post. In ramming through the       $1.9 trillion COVID relief package without Republican support, “Biden made       a decision not to cooperate.” Democrats believed they “had to act fast if       they were going to use the pandemic as a justification for a massive       expansion of the welfare state.” This sends a clear message that they       “intend to use their historically narrow congressional majorities to ram       through as much big government spending as they can before the 2022       midterm elections.” If they do, “Joe Biden — the president who promised to       restore bipartisanship — will preside over its burial.”              Iconoclast: Questioning the BLM Curriculum              “The BLM at School movement is gaining momentum in Democratic strongholds       around the country,” yet, Conor Friedersdorf complains at The Atlantic,       much of the material “crosses a line from education into indoctrination”       as it “unapologetically aims to create a new generation of allied       activists.” This curriculum “rejects individualism and aspirational color-       blindness” and “acts in solidarity with projects including decoloniality,       anti-capitalism and queer liberation.” One BLM-educated girl’s parent       reports: “When I tried to explain to her . . . why some families support       the police, she wasn’t open to considering that view. She had a blinding       certainty that troubled me. She thinks that even raising the question is       racist.”              Science beat: The ‘Chilling Effect’ on Debate              The pandemic and lockdowns have had “a chilling effect on the scientific       community,” worry Drs. Martin Kulldorff and Jay Bhattacharya at The       Federalist. “Politicians and (alas) scientists have engaged in vicious       slander of dissident scientists” and called for “censorship in place of       debate.” The Journal of the American Medical Association, for example, ran       an articling “defaming” Dr. Scott Atlas, a COVID adviser to President       Donald Trump, without even engaging Atlas’ “actual scientific views,”       after he sought to balance the risks of “viral spread” against “harms”       from lockdowns. Other prominent scientists were similarly maligned. The       “future of science” depends on encouraging “vigorous and hard scientific       debate” and combating “smears and slander.” If we don’t follow such a       course, our “300-year Age of Enlightenment will come to an end.”              Culture critic: Transgender Issues Need Debate              At The Wall Street Journal, Ryan T. Anderson stresses the importance of       being able to talk about “transgender equality” issues, like whether       “women in dire straits” should be “forced to spend the night” in shelters       “with men who identify as women.” Yet Amazon, which stopped offering       Anderson’s book on the subject, “When Harry Became Sally,” is using its       “outsize market power to prevent readers from accessing one side of this       debate.” Meanwhile, little is known about the causes of gender dysphoria,       “yet powerful institutions are promoting radical experimental therapies       for children.” Yes, we need to “respect” people who identify as       transgender, but we also must do “everything possible to protect young       people.” That requires a “better conversation about gender-identity       issues, and that’s why I wrote my book. No good comes from shutting down”       debate.              Foreign desk: You Can Stop China’s ‘Genocide’              In January, the State Department declared that China is waging “genocide”       to “destroy Muslim Uighurs,” note former US diplomats Keith Krach and       Ellie Cohanim at Newsweek. And Beijing’s actions “fit the definition of       punishable genocide” established by the UN after the Holocaust. Yet “the       free world” — corporations, universities, pensions — have not only “looked       the other way” but “financed” the Chinese Communist Party by, for       instance, “providing access to our capital markets.” Now it’s time to “do       something about it.” Americans should let their “voice be heard,” since       “fear of bad publicity is a powerful motivator.” The world “failed to stop       the Holocaust in the 20th century. We must not be too late to stop the       CCP’s genocide in Xinjiang in the 21st.”              — Compiled by The Post Editorial Board                            --       "LOCKDOWN", left-wing COVID fearmongering. 95% of COVID infections       recover with no after effects.              No collusion - Special Counsel Robert Swan Mueller III, March 2019.       Officially made Nancy Pelosi a two-time impeachment loser.              Donald J. Trump, cheated out of a second term by fraudulent "mail-in"       ballots. Report voter fraud: sf.nancy@mail.house.gov              Thank you for cleaning up the disaster of the 2008-2017 Obama / Biden       fiasco, President Trump.              Under Barack Obama's leadership, the United States of America became the       The World According To Garp. Obama sold out heterosexuals for Hollywood       queer liberal democrat donors.              President Trump boosted the economy, reduced illegal invasions, appointed       dozens of judges and three SCOTUS justices.              --- SoupGate-DOS v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
