The Republican Party (as a national party) self-destructed faster
than I thought it would.  The Democratic Party is not far behind,
so don't get your hopes up too high.

Our politicians seem to have gone from character to caricature -
in both major parties.  Donald Trump as the Republican nominee for
president?  Hillary Clinton as the Democratic nominee for president?
Neither person would have been taken as being a serious candidate
a generation ago.  And yet one of them is most likely to become
our next president.  That is a scary thought.

If Hillary gets the nod, I am sure she will replace Obamacare
with Hillarycare.  No way her supporters or detractors are gonna
let her get away with Clintoncare.

Notice I did not say repeal Obamacare.  I said replace.  And that
is her winning strategy.  The reason why she wins and everybody
else loses.  Gotta give the voters what they want.  Even if they
have absolutely no idea what they want.  Give it to them anyway.
They will love you for it.  And thank you later.
