I switched my wins 6.2 system to a 64 bit win 8 computer.
it used to run fine. now the registration info dissapeared.
and everytime I try to use wcreg to reenter it, it says it is saved.
but when I run wcreg again to check it, it is all cleared again.
my reg number is 07-5335
same number I have been using for years
hmm, is win 8 blocking the registry?
and my virus is ms defender. hmm, maybe it is blocking the wins writing
to the registry. I'll have to try turning it off.
