It dowsn't work down here because of the humidity and I even asked my vet
about it and she never heard of that working.  So, I can only conclude that
the colder air in Iowa is a major player in Bob's suggestion.

I give ours a tiny pill called Capstar as needed and it seems to work here. 
One thing I'd like to point out where pet medicine is concerned.  I find it
cheaper to buy from the local vet than that place that advertises in TV ads.
