I had a lab Mark, who I swear would eat anything, and I never did it, but If
Iwere to put down a 40# bag of food, I would bet she would eat it until she
orthe bag gave out. That girl just loved to eat, but I did find out later it
wascuz she had diabetes so she was never satisfied. The signals were not
tellingher she was not hungry even though she ate her meal.

Dogs do tend to eat everything. My parents had a dog many years ago who was
noton a natural diet, but my mother would put the dogs favorites in the
foodsometimes. She thought she was doing him good to put apples veggies etc.
Butone thing she put in that he hated was carrots. That dog would wolf down
thatbowl of food and without missing a beat, actually spit the pieces of
carrotright out on the floor next to his dish. Little pile of carrots to clean
upright next to the dish. It was not long before he did not get carrots
anymore;-)

You remind me too, when You talk about wild animals, I can always tell and
itkind of grosses me out. Usually in the early evening when the boys go out.
If Igo out, I will see one of them looking funny. You can tell, something is
off. They have that innocent look on their face, and still look like the cat
that atthe canary. Then it hits me, I check his mouth and the dog will spit
out thisbig old toad or frog, and it hops away unharmed. 8) But it grosses me
out thatthey were running around with a toad in their mouth, like they are
saving itfor later as a snack or a toy.
Have a good One!
Mike
