I smoked for 39 years and when I quit "cold turkey", I was up to an average of 2.5 packs per day. Running out of breath while bowling scared the you-know-what out of me. I had my lungs X-rayed the day after I quit and the doctor told me I was lucky there were no spots on my lungs and asked me to come back in six months for another set of X-rays. I did and my lungs were clear. I considered that remarkable. Regards, Roger --- timEd/386 1.10.y2k+ * Origin: NCS BBS - Houma, LoUiSiAna - (1:3828/7) |
