My current favorite desktop PC is an ODROID XU3-Lite running Ubuntu 14.0.4 LTS. I can play Doom using the installable FREEDOOM, which uses the boom engine. I have found that this is the only reliable doom engine that works for ARMHF arch. I've tried Doomsday, chocolate doom, doomlegacy, vavoom, and prboom. Have you heard if Risen3D doom works on ARMHF Ubuntu?
