Your description of a small window and the rest being info sounds like
Arrowbridge... except of course it had nothing to do with space, and the
window was in the top middle.  ;)

IIRC, Tradewars 2 has a small port window in the top left corner, but I
don't remember being able to see the ships of others that were not logged
on.

I was more of a TW 2002 player, and it didn't have a port window.
