Hey Martin!
On Fri, 05 Dec 2025 18:58:00 , you wrote:

Let's start this over.
You mentioned that you run EleBBS, and you are "connecting to my system,"
meaning EleBBS. Does EleBBS have some way to run javascript games made
specifically for Synchronet?
If this is the "Remastered" one you reference in the subject line, I had never
heard of this version until now. I found a youtube video of a guy playing it
recently where there is no sound whatsoever:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCEh4UAYMLA
.. and can be downloaded and read about here:

While it may be the same game, they are not the same game. However, they are
both based off the original by Alan Davenport.
In Deuce's version, you can hit "Z" from the main menu to toggle ansi music on
or off. Maybe the version you're referring to has something similar, and maybe
he got rid of the actual question that you have never seen..? I don't know the
answer to that.
It mentions that ansi music is supported, however I didn't see any evidence of
that in the video. Nor did I see a prompt asking about it in the video,
either. You might want to try to contact the person that "remastered the game"
with your issues, which I found for you in the file_id.diz:
KANNONS & KATAPULTS 25
Remastered Edition (2025)
================================
Classic BBS Door Game from 1991
NOW WITH MULTIPLAYER PvP!
First time in the game's 34-year
history - battle other players!
* Klassic Mode vs King Computer
* Async turn-based PvP battles
* Separate PvP & AI rankings
* Full ANSI music support
* Multi-platform support
Original: Alan Davenport (1991)
Remastered: Alexander Corris

And again, mt32 and Netrunner do /not/ support ansi music. So even if the game
does actually support it, it won't work with those programs. Syncterm,
Icy_Term, and Qodem do, though.

Nick
